Brewing Instructions 

HOT HERBAL TEA BREWING METHOD: When preparing by the cup, these herbs can be used repeatedly – about 2-3 times. The secret is to use filtered water that is about 212°F. Place 1 teaspoon in your teapot with 6-8oz water. Let the tea steep for about 3 minutes and then pour hot water from the teapot (through a strainer – removing the herbs) into your cup and enjoy.

Adding milk and sugar is not recommended

ICED HERBAL TEA BREWING METHOD (Pitcher): (to make 1 liter/quart): Place 6 teaspoons of herbal tea into a teapot or heat resistant pitcher. Using filtered cold water, boil and pour 1¼ cups/315ml over the herbs. Steep for 5 minutes. Quarter fill a serving pitcher with cold water. Pour the tea through a strainer into your serving pitcher. Add ice and top-up the pitcher with cold water. A rule of thumb when preparing fresh brewed iced herbal tea is to increase the strength of hot herbal tea since it will be poured over ice and diluted with cold water.
