What is White tea
White tea is made from the Camellia Sinensis plant. It’s a minimally processed tea that is delicate in flavor. Its production includes harvesting the tea plants’ leaves before the leaves are fully open. The young buds are covered with fine white hairs during this time which is how it received it’s name. This tea is not oxidized as long as black or green tea and it’s considered the most delicate tea due to the minimal processing and oxidation as well as the freshness of the tea.
The Caffiene content of this tea is naturally low in content and full of antioxidants. The subtle flavors of this tea are great on their own and perfect for the morning or afternoon tea break.
